The Northern Kentucky Children’s Advocacy Center (NKYCAC) is located at 4890 Houston Road in Florence, KY. This location in Boone County is convenient to the heart of the growing Northern Kentucky population and to the rural counties with easy access to Interstate-71/75 and Interstate-275.

The facility includes a reception and waiting area, forensic interview and observation rooms, medical, therapy and family meeting rooms, and a large meeting space.

The Center opened in 2009 and was strategically designed as a child-friendly setting which is both physically and psychologically safe. Providing a welcoming environment that is warm and inviting, reflecting the diversity of clients served which demonstrates best practices as a trauma-informed environment.

This environment creates an opportunity for children to talk about their experiences and take that first step toward healing and recovery from the horrific effects of child abuse.
